Creative Fashion Designer, Ashley James Pearce, is one of the industry’s most
popular visionary talents the UK has to offer.

Based out in the wilds of  Norfolk, specialising in handcrafting bespoke mask, head wear and full look couture, Ashley has created some of the most unique and spectacular designs for clients internationally within the fashion, entertainment and media industries, including top musical artists, celebrity stylists, designers and prime time TV shows.

Ashley’s creative ambitions were honed from a very early age, touring craft fairs with his parents, where cast-off jewellery, clothing and fabrics were salvaged and transformed into everything from puppets and masks, to intricately designed hats and costumes. With his young innate eye for “creating magical carriages from pumpkins” and his later flair for making a stylist’s brief come to mystical fruition, the name Mystic Magic remains as truly apt as when Ashley created it in 2005.

Inspired by various fashion idols, Ashley’s out of the box style and ambitions were definitely not on the high school curriculum. Often being the odd one out in social circles, Ashley took to channeling his efforts into designing masks and then eventually head wear. Upon leaving school he founded his own fashion label Mystic Magic, the name he had used as a child on the craft fair circuit.

Focused on getting his brand out there, Ashley designed and built his own website and social media platforms from scratch. With the launch of his online shop, magazine and media exposure soon followed with sales and commissions coming in from across the UK and eventually further afield, USA, Australia, Europe and even Hawaii!

Ashley’s designs were soon in demand with top stylists, photographers and fashion editors globally, appearing in the pages of Vogue, Tatler and Hunger magazine along with Tv's BBC Strictly Come Dancing and fashion festivals, The Clothes Show Live and Zurich’s Energy Fashion Night. He has also been very fortunate to have his work recognised, qualifying as a finalist for the BBC "Designer of the Year” awards.

Ashley’s ever-evolving journey has seen his designs feature in fashion shoots for international photographer Rankin and with the launching of his first formal millinery hat collection, taking Ascot and the summer events season by storm.

More recently Mystic Magic's head wear was adorned by actress Helena Bonham Carter promoting her role as Princess Margaret in Netflix's 'The Crown'.  A selection of masks also was designed for Elizabeth Hurley in her TV show 'The Royals'.

Currently in post-production, Floria Sigismondi’s big budget movie, 'The Silence of Mercy' , will feature twelve haunting Mystic Magic mask creations. With all of Ashley’s designs being extravagant, edgy and with of course the Mystic Magic twist!
